What Is The Scientific Name For Mosquito?

I honestly do not know. I don't think any of the answers are correct here though. Try someplace else to get your answer. The Anopheles quadrimacalatus is probably wrong because what does the common mosquito have four of? Quad does mean 4 after all. The other one just sounds cheesy.
