How Many Different Kinds Of Bird Are There In The World?

There are approximately 10,000 known species of birds in the world. The best continent for bird watching is South America where over 3,200 species are known to exist. Although various different kinds of birds can be seen throughout the world.

There are about as many as 10,000 bird species in the world. Thats sad. Very sad.  :(
