You have not mentioned whether your dog is bleeding from one or both nostrils? Anyhow, causes of  nose bleeding in dogs are foreign bodies in the nose, injuries, infections due to bacteria, virus or fungus, nasal tumors, dental diseases, nasal tumors, poison poisoning, liver diseases and clotting disorders. Diagnosis is by physical examination, x-rays, blood and urine tests, and biopsy. Treatment depends upon underlying cause like antibiotic for bacterial infection, anti fungal for fungal infection etc. Sometimes, hospitalization is also required. So, take your dog to vet for differential diagnosis and treatment.

Not sure if this was the cause but, we had a chihuahua that got the parvovirus disease and she would not eat or drink and died within two or three days of becoming sick. When she died she had blood coming from her nose and bloody stool coming out of her behind.

It is called Parvo. Not every dog can be cured but by taking your dog to the vet and having the parvo shot certainly helps.
