Get fine tooth comb and run thru coat from head towards tail to see if flea infestation is present. If cat goes outside, good chance that's it. But agree with person from answer no.2 - could be other things, too. If eliminate fleas as source, time to go to vet.

There are several things that could be causing these skin lesions in your cat.  Mites, ringworm, other dermal parasites, trauma, excessive grooming, and food allergies are a few of the possibilities.  If this continues your cat needs to be examined by a veterinarian.
