My dog limps & won't use a leg. Lately he's collected burs in fur, so might have bur in paw. No bur or wound seen but there might be stuck between paw pads or hidden in fur. If I touch paw he squeals like he's in pain & tries bite. What do I do?

Let a vet check him out. It could get infected.

We have some small burrs near the river and my Basset gets them in his paws and they are hard to remove. Best thing to do is see your Vet and make sure that no pieces of the burr has stuck in the skin. Been through this a few times. Vet knows right what to do ! Give them a call !
