My beloved dog died last night, the staff at her vet office were wonderful. Ways that I can say thank you to the staff?

I am so sorry for you loss. She had such a lovable face.

In the past I have had dogs with medical issues where we spent lots of time at the vets. I often brought the cookies or cupcakes as a thank you.

I remember you asking about this a couple of months ago. I'm very sorry for your loss as Dogs are special beings in our hearts. The last Basset I had and had to finally put down, the people at the Vet's office were really great as I cried like a baby ! I sent them a nice bouquet of flowers for their office and they really liked them. It was a way for all of us to remember. A card would be nice but the flowers really made them feel better too. Remember that your dog always lives in your heart !

I'm so sorry Dragonfly, tough time to go through as well as a bad time of year. I'm sure you'll keep some happy thoughts about Scarlett on your mind forever.

For the vet staff, you could always send a cheerful flower arrangement. I'm sure that they go through the loss of pets quite often with their clientele and they could use some brightness in their lives too.

I'm sorry for your loss, DF. Losing a dog is like losing a kid.

There's no need to do anything special for the vet staff. They know you appreciate them. A few years ago I asked one of the staff at a cancer clinic how they could remain so cheerful the whole time when they treated so many people every day. She said, "We love what we do." Your vet staff will feel like that. It's enough that they know you appreciate them.

Big hugs dragonfly ((((((( )))))))) so sorry about your loss. Scarlet was a wonderful dog who had a wonderful mommy....as far as the vets office, anything you choose to do, will be fine, they will appreciate you thinking of them. Flowers and fruit have already been suggested, maybe a nice candy assortment in some sort of container with Scarlets picture?!

dragonfly, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know she was your best friend. She's beautiful! I think a box of candy or a fruit basket with a nice card will be a nice gift for the staff.
