Call and talk to a vet.  We have no idea. We don't know how old the dog is, how long this has been going on, etc. If your dog is important to you, then you need to call and see if they can help you via a phone call or do you need to take him in.

No kidding! Getting ready to take my two kids in (both cats) for shots and etc. And how, you ask, do you get a cat in a carrier? Thanks for asking. Get your son to put them in for you. I don't know how he does it - but he gets the job done. I'm sunk when he moves out on his own!
