You have not mentioned which type of lesion your dog is having? Lesions in dogs can be due to a skin disease or manifestation of some internal diseases and autoimmune disorders like lupus.

Skin lesions in dogs can be due to bacterial, viral and fungal infections, food allergy, contact allergy and red mange.

Whatever may be the type of wound in dogs, proper diagnosis and treatment is necessary. Treatment depends upon underlying cause. For bacterial infections, topical or oral antibiotics are used. For fungal infections, antifungal and for scabies , antiscabies are used.

It will be good to see a vet for most accurate diagnosis and treatment.
