It is not always better to have two cats than one. Cats are not social or pack animals in the same way as rabbits or dogs. They do not need other cats present to be content. Many owners think homing two kittens from the same litter will guarantee a life long bond. This does happen but the opposite can be true. Even two cats which have known each since birth can become distinctly uncomfortable in each other's presence. Some cats can seem to pine for a cat house mate that has died. Other seem to perk up and change character when this happens. Not all cats need to be top cat but some will work hard at becoming the dominant cat in a household and this can cause misery for other cats. For example, some experts recommend a litter tray per feline for indoor cats as the top cat might try and block access to others from his or her tray.
It depends if you want a cat use the force to get one!
Yes, I would say it is better to have two cats for it teaches the cats of to interact with one another. It also reminds them of being in their litter again.
It all depends one cat is alote of company , if you feel you want double then make sure they get along and are fixed ,they do like playing ,and when your not around they like each others company (if they get along)
One cat is ample,i would swap places with my cat anytime,
Well it is sometimes good but it is going to be hard work but I say one cat is better than two

I say two is better than one, three is better than two, four is better than three, and five is better than four. Better stop there.
