Siberian huskies have strong and compact bodies, that is why these are very good working dogs. Hair loss in all dogs can be due to allergic reactions to many things like food, pollens, molds and flea. Other reasons are pyoderma, ringworm, scabies, Cheyletiella lice, hormonal imbalance, Cushing' s disease, autoimmune diseases, and almost all skin diseases.

Siberian Huskies are more prone to develop Zinc responsive dermatitis due to inheritance which is caused by deficiency of zinc in the diet. Symptoms of Zinc deficiency are like mange and ringworm. This condition can cause hair loss in patches. Dietary Zinc supplements can solve the problem to some extent.

As many factors can cause hair loss in dogs, it will be good to take your dog to vet for proper diagnosis and accurate treatment.
