Why do owls see better at night than in the morning?

Because owls only see black and white so thats why they hunt at night because it is easier for them, and the are nocturnal animals so they should be sleeping during the day and awake at night anyway?

The night vision of owls is 100 times as keen as that of human beings, because their eyes are especially adapted for seeing in the dark.
