Can Humans Get Round Worms And Or Hook Worms From There Dog?

Not hook work, some worms yes.. Get rid of the worms, that is easy. Go to Pet Smart get a de-wormer, and follow directions. Make sure you pick up all poo, as the dog can go back and sniff the poo and eggs can go right up their nose and re-infest the dog with worms.

They sure can! Get your dog to a vet and get it treated. Worms can destroy the dogs health. Ask the vet about recommendation for ridding your house of any infestation. Let your doctor know that you have been exposed to the dogs worms. He will probably want you to have some tests and may prescribe medication if you have contracted worms from your dog.

Yes. These worms do have a zoonotic affect on humans. Its best to clean up poops and wash hands after handling the dog til worms are gone. Also do not allow the animal to lick you in the face. If he/she does then you should wash thoroughly right away.  

Worms are not transmitted through the soles of feet or through the anus. If your puppy has worms, you should go to the vet and he it should be medicated. You can get worms from your puppy if you are cleaning up its fecal matter and not wash your hands and touch your mouth. I don't believe there is any other LOGICAL way to transmit worms from puppy yo human

Oh for sure!! Worms are very transmittable especially with kids playing on the floor, getting it on their hands and putting their hands in their mouths.

Humans can get most worms and to get them you would have to ingest the worm eggs.
