Ok this is what my book says never disturb the nest of a female with young before they are 10-12 days old, particularly if it is a first litter as the female may well kill the babies or abandon them. If a female spreads the babies around the cage and they appear to be being ignored, the best way to return them to the nest area is to gently scoop them up with a teaspoon and place them back under or as near to the female as possible.
Females will often chase male out of nest for the first day or so. The babies skin should darken at about 3 days, fur appear 6-8 days eyes open 14 days independent by 18-21 days. Mature at 60 days.
Can produce young at 30 days so separate out so brothers and sisters do not mate.
hope this helps.
