Well dear!
Most of the dogs and the pets have such issues and it is usually because of the skin allergy or the dry skin of the dog. Now take him to a vet and ask for the complete check up of the allergy. However, you should take care of its grooming and brush it regularly and take allergenic medicines for it.

Does your dog appear itchy?  Is he chewing himself excessively causing damage to his hair?  Allergies will make dogs itch and many will self-mutilate and chew their hair out.  Dogs with allergies also have red skin, can have pustules, and may scratch until they have open sores.  Dogs can be allergic to fleas, food, and things in the environment.
Other causes of hair loss include ringworm, mites, other skin parasites, and overgrooming (an obsessive-compulsive behavioral problem driven by stress or anxiety).  Mites, especially Demodex, can overpopulate during times of stress when the body's immune system is down.
Have your dog rechecked by your veterinarian to explore some of these possibilities and start appropriate treatment.

It could be because of a skin condition, or any other maladies. I suggest you take her to the vet, and get some blood work done if it isn't because of a skin condition, and it could be something as simple as a vitamin deficiency. Hope this helps, good luck to you and the pup.
