The Ostrich is the largest bird of all, weighing in between 300 and 350 lbs. (btwn 136.2 and 158.9 kg). However, the largest bird of flight is the Condor. There are two species of Condor, the Andean and the Californian. They range from 17 to 29 lbs. (7.7 to 13.16 kg.). The Californian is the taller and heavier of the Condors, but the Andean has a larger wingspan.
