At What Age Should A Dog Start To Show She Is Pregnant?

Gestation (pregnancy) in dogs lasts 63-66 days.  At 5 weeks (35 days) most dogs will start to have abdominal enlargement but should not be producing milk yet.  At this point ultrasound is the most reliable and accurate method of pregnancy diagnosis.  Fetal skeletons calcify at day 45 and can be seen on x-ray; this is the best way to estimate the number of puppies.
If you have any concerns about your dog have her examined by your veterinarian; your veterinarian can also help make sure you are giving appropriate pre-natal care.

If you think she is 5 weeks you will be able to feel puppies moving in her belly by now. Try resting your hand on her when she is sleepy and quiet. Also her teats will be swollen and may leak milk when squeezed.

Depending on the breed she may not start showing until the last week or two of her pregnancy.

Well, dogs are only pregnant for 60 days (give or take a few) and if she was 5 weeks she should have milk already. How old is she? She could only have 1 pup. I had a dog that was pregnant and didn't know it till she gave birth.
