I don't think there's any way to tell in a quaker by looking at it, or by behavior either. You can get a DNA test done to tell, if you really want to know. If this is your first bird, bring it to a vet to have it done. Otherwise, just enjoy your bird without knowing.
First you pick up you quaker then put your finger gently at the area where they poop then feel there and if it has like only one bump its a male and two bumps next to each other then its a girl but if your still having trouble its better just to get to a proffecinal and do a dna test

Normally male birds have more vibrant shades as compare to female parrots. Some female parrots have a ring (or necklace like ring) around their neck. Female Parrots are less aggressive than male one. If you still can't find it then take your parrot to the vet. He sure will help you.
