No, trust me she's not in pain!!!! She's wanting to mate, and letting everyone know she wants out of the house. Do not let her out, or you will have baby kitties in approx. 60 days. A cat can carry on like this for days. If you put her in a garage, someone will report noise to animal control. The only way to stop her, is to get her spayed. Check your area for low cost spay/neuter clinics. I've had many a cat in heat, so I know the noise your are writing about. Your cat will try to bolt for the door when it opens, so be prepared.
