The hamster most likely had severe wet tail, my hamster is currently suffering from the same thing, we just got him Pedialyte electrolytes and that should help out with the wet tail.

I went to find my hamsters on sunday and noticed they didn't come and greet me like they normally do. I found the male in their house with his intestines hanging out of his mouth, his eye was rotted out, he had a spot of gangrene on his side and his fur was basically falling off. The female was dead beside him like she was upset and just waited to die. They were fed watered and cleaned properly and I had handled them both on Friday. Within two days, one rotted and puked up his guts and the other probably died from sorrow. Any ideas?

It was that I know he must have something no one knows he proberlby had something sharp or something bothering him. Check in  hamster.com or go to a smarter vet.
