The Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake is found in Florida, and while most of its "diamonds" are black, bordered with white, some may be dark brown or have brown scales inside the pattern. This is the only Florida snake that has true diamond-shaped markings, although many people tend to call every snake pattern a "diamond" pattern, even those that are striped.
