There isn't a set number and it doesn't change per pregnancy but by situation and dogs involved. Average is 4 to 8 or 9. Generally you get a good idea of how many during an ultrasound or x-rays which many still do for all the other reasons even though it's a c-section breed. They are an incredibly difficult breed to know, breed and raise pups.
