James Parnell answered
What fruits can cats eat?
Most fruits are okay for cats to eat, as long as they don't eat the pips! However, unlike humans, cats do not need to eat fruit or vegetables in order to stay healthy!
Instead, cats need a large amount of protein in their diets - hence why the staple diet of a cat should always be meat.
Cats are primarily carnivorous, as they are in the wild, although they may eat grass if they feel ill.
Your domestic cat may have a fondness for some fruits or vegetables, although giving these to cats on a regular basis is not advised, as they cannot digest them as well as humans can!
