Above is correct...be sure to get the dewormer from the vet, not the junk from WalMart...not only is it a waste of $$$, but could turn out to be deadly. Depending on the type of worms they may have or how bad, they could become anemic & die if not treated properly. I used to work at an emergency vet & have seen it happen.
Puppies should be wormed from 2 weeks of age for worms and retreated every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age. Then they should be treated every 2 to 3 months :-)
2 weeks is too young to be given that , you can give it when it is 4 weeks.
Most breeders begin deworming at 2 to 4 weeks, the deworming medication has to come from the vet though. You have to use particular ones that are the same ones professionals use or it's deadly. You can't run out to the grocery or pet shop and get anything safe or what you need. There is more information and a basic schedule outline for you in the first link.
