The African elephant is the largest land animal , however the second largest known animal on Earth is the finback whale- about seventy feet. Also there is still some sea creatures that are yet to be found, so the finback may not be the second biggest, the blue whale may not be the longest, if not the biggest for that matter.Only time will tell.
