Fixing a cat involves a full hysterectomy, that is removal of the uterus, tubes and ovaries, which will obviously alres forever her female hormonal systems ( just like a post menopausal woman)A cat nursing her kittens needs her milk for them so of course a cat cannot be spayed whilst nursing and even if she could would you like cars treading you after a major op.? Please ask your vet when it is okay to have her done.
No , I don't think it's like having tubes tied. It's like a hysterectomy! It will tell her body to stop producing hormones and milk, a bad idea! Wait till the kittens are eating on their own!
You need to wait until she weans the kittens. That way the kittens wont hurt her cut
I believe this can be done, as many women have their tubes tied just after having a baby, but best to check with the vet. You don't want a cat feeling unwell if still nursing
