Nope – dinosaur scholars (or palaeontologists) still think that the dinosaurs were more closely-related to reptiles. This makes sense, really – dinosaurs are more like crocodiles than they are frogs!

Palaeontologists actually believe that birds are dinosaurs, which would make birds the closest living relatives to the huge creatures.

Crocodilians are also thought to be close relations of the dinosaurs, but amphibians aren’t at all. The similarity between dinosaurs and amphibians ends with the hollow bones.

Birds and Dinosaurs
Birds have hollow bones, just like the dinosaurs did – it’s a characteristic that makes them lighter, which is why they’re able to fly. Fossil evidence indicates that some dinosaurs even breathed like birds do. Exciting!

Well they have changed their minds - they now think that the dinosaurs are more closely related to birds.

I never heard about the large internal spaces, but scientists are definitely sure that dinosaurs are most closely related to reptiles, not amphibians.
