How Long Can Terrapins Stay Out Of Water For ?

Well it depends on how old they are etc but from what I have read they can stay out of water for up to a week or so but I wouldn't leave it that long.
I have a yellow bellied slider terrapin and his name is homie :D
Recently I have been letting him just wonder around my house...I also have a golden retriever dog and wanted to know if they would get along and believe it or not there very friendly with each other and my dog Harley like to cuddle next to him :)
So if your just talking about letting them out for a walk for the day I'm sure thats fine...they get sunlight and exercise which is good for them :)

I'm not too sure as to how long they can actually stay out, I'm anew owner of a yellow belly and altough I leave my little guy swim around most of the day he loves to come out and hide under the blankets :) any where thats dark and cozy really he will sleep for hours! But I don't leave him out more than a few hours altough I'm sure they can stay out longer, but they need the exercise so I would think it would be best to pop them back in after a few hours.
