why should we NOT abolish zoos?

well in my opinion zoos are the only place where animals can be conserved.
Especially endangered species. With increasing animals’ population rates,
deforestation is taking place continuously, causing the destruction of natural
habitats. Thus, zoos should not be abolished for the preservation of animals.
