Elephants are considered as the largest animals on the earth. The average weight and size of the elephants can vary depending upon their geographical location. The average weight of elephant is about 12000 kilograms(26000 lb) and the largest size available with this weight has shoulder height of about 4.2 meters(14 ft) and height of one yard to one meter. Large male elephants on average can weigh up to 5,400 kg (12,000 lb) and their size can go up to 3.4 m (11 ft) tall. The smallest elephant is Mature Sumatrans which has the average size of about 1.7–2.6 m (5.6–8.5 ft) at the shoulder and weighs less than 3,000 kg (6,600 lb).
