They don't have special abilities. It's a genetic thing (mutation) that would cause them not to survive in their natural habitat (the wild). Their 'orange' color is to make them blend in as odd as that may seem thinking of the ones in captivity you would usually see and how they stand out in that situation. Different effect in their natural habitat (lights and shadows and dirt and all that). As babies (and as hunting adults) their coloring would help them blend in a bit better and they have white 'spots' on the back of their ears so that a predator from behind might think the spot's are eyes and the baby is a larger animal than they are and less likely to eat them. The white coloring in the wild would cause them to stand out and become prey long before they grew to adulthood.
