Go to www.craigslist.com search the pets section or the free section, people give away dogs all the time on there for all kinds of reasons. I see Boxers on there from time to time. Sometimes they are full grown and sometimes if your lucky you can find a puppy that is only a couple of months. I got a full blooded gorgeous American Pit Bull for free just by searching around on this website about a year ago. I paid to get him registered myself and I am now still searching around on there for a female. Even if you have to pay, it's a rule on craigslist that you can only ask a small adoption fee so most of the prices stay under about $150 if not free to a good home. This site is for owners that can not keep their dogs any longer and want to adopt or give away rather than throw to the pound. Most of the time they will offer you free supplies to go with the dog as well like crates, food, toys, etc. This is a legit site but you do still got some scammers on there you got to be careful for. Never agree to have a dog or puppy shipped it's a scam. Always agree to meet someone publicly and do the exchange. I spoke with an older woman for a good 3 days before coming to her house to pick up my APBT from her. She gave me puppy pads, a bag of puppy chow, crate, and everything she had for him all for free. He's one now and he is a real nice dog, never had a problem with him. I suggest you check it out it's a great site to find anything your looking for, even furniture, rental properties, electronics, and even free stuff! Go check it out I guarantee you'll become a craigslist addict.
Let's see....I will breed my AKC registered boxers, whelp the pups...possibly having to have a 1600.00 emergency c-section like the last litter. Take care of mom, feeding her premium food and taking her out several times a day. I will clean poop, clean poop and clean more poop....I will worm the pups vigorously and make sure to get the first, second and however many shots needed while they are here. I will take over the moms duties when she starts weaning them, feeding them regularly and then clean up even more poop. I will make sure to do everything just right to give these pups the best start possible and then I will just turn around and give one to you for FREE. Yeah right! Let me ask one question. After doing all of that hard work and taking such care to make sure they get a good healthy start...why in the world would you turn around and place one into a home where someone can not even afford to pay for it in the first place let alone pay for any unexpected vet bills that may accrue. I don't think even the pound just gives a dog for free. Good luck buddy!
