They may drool due to a new, unfamiliar or unpleasant smell that tastes weird or bad ( a new pup will do this fairly often). It can also be from nerves sometimes. It could also be from poisoning, severe illness, or something wrong inside the mouth itself like an abscess or other reasons. If this is unusual at all you may want to consult your vet. You can try calling first so they can get more details and tell you what they think unless there are other signs that something may be wrong or you know your pup may have gotten into anything anytime in the last week or so or anything and then I'd probably just go in. Hope your baby is okay and it's nothing much.
