I'm having a hard time fathoming large paws on a chihuahua. Are you sure your pup is all Chihuahua (JK)? Actually that's just a myth. Their paws and the rest of their build has to do with what they were bred to do. The tallest dog in the world has very slim and 'small' paws because they are a sight hound. Dogs that swim or need to support their body structure or whatever often have paws built for that which are larger. One time I had an Irish Wolfhound, A Bassett, A Lab, and a Golden puppy in the same room. To demonstrate this I asked several people to guess which dog was going to be the biggest (several people hung out to watch the game after they found out the answer) by paw size. All the other breeds were guessed but the correct one because the Irish Wolfhound is HUGE and the tallest breed of dog there is but they have slim feet and the other dogs were hunting dogs. Basset had to support body weight and the other two are retrievers and swim. If your pup has larger paws for a Chihuahua they may be on the bigger side but it is not an accurate way to tell a dog's actual adult size as paws have to do with function and body type and definitely doesn't work when comparing different breeds.
