Two males will fight in the same cage. A male and a female can be caged together, but some males can be pushy when they are mature and the female may attack him if she is not interested. So it is best to keep an eye on them. My breeding pair are caged together and do fine. Two females usually do well in the same cage. Make sure they are the same size, larger ones will bully the smaller ones and if it is really small it could become food.

I have heard that males can be in the same cage together. This is only a trial though. Some males will get "bossy" and will be like I am the king. Do you get what I am saying? Females are good together. Never put two males in with a female.
