Whatever the age of the corn snake, they all eat the same things. Corn snakes primarily eat rodents, but do not catch and kill these yourself as wild rodents could pass on diseases to your pet. Baby snakes will start eating baby mice and then as they get older they will progress to eating adult mice. A rule of thumb is to make sure that the diameter of the prey is not wider than the snake, otherwise it will regurgitate the food.

Once the snake has eaten, give it 4-5 days to digest the food before feeding again. Right after eating, make sure the snake has somewhere dark to hide in, as stress will make it regurgitate the food as well.

Corn snakes are not picky eaters, but make sure that the humidity and temperature is suitable for them otherwise they will not eat well.

Most corn snakes baby, or adult will eat rodents. (mice, hamsters.etc). But when there done eating they like to be in a dark hiding spot because when they stress they will regertate their food, and some how the dark calms them.
