The black dots in the eye are called floaters. These can be of various sizes, shapes and consistency. These floaters are usually present in the vitreous humour. They move with the rapid motions of the eye. Floaters are common and don't cause serious problems in most of people. Floaters can be formed due to shrinkage of the vitreous humour, regression of the hyaloid artery during fetal development, retinal tear, cystoid macular edema and asteroid hyalosis.
majority of the times, floaters don't require any treatment. If you are feeling any problems in your vision/sight than contact with eye specialist.
