Do pandas eat meat?
Pandas are considered as omnivores. They eat meat if it's available because they have a digestive system of omnivores but 99 percent of pandas diet is bamboos.:)
A panda's diet contains mostly bamboo. Actually, 99% of it's diet is bamboo, but it occasionally eats rodents, musk, deer, fawn, insects, honey, egg and fish.
Pandas do eat meat I have seen it. They mostly eat bamboo shoots, and leaves but it is proven that they do eat meat. It is very rare though, I hope this helps.. :)
They don't eat meat! They are bamboo eaters!
Giant Pandas do not eat meat, they almost exclusivley feed on bambo, which is pitifully poor in nutritional value. As a result, they have to eat huge amounts of bamboo daily to survive. A lot of the bamboo forests in China have been destroyed for development and farming, which is the reason Giant Pandas are facing extinction.
