How To Snake Out Main Line Of Toilet?

A lot of Hardware stores such as Do It Best have snakes you can rent for about $5.00. I would try running the snake down through the toilet first. It it goes through without any difficulty you may have a clog further than the snake can reach or you may need to hire a plumber to use an electric snake.

Have you used a drain cleaning product like Draino?  If not, there is a tool they make called a "snake" that should do the trick.  Talk to a plumber about it for more details.
