When I find birds, if I'm not sure what they are or how to care for them I call the local SPCA, and ask for the wild life dept. They can usually tell me what it is and how to care for it. You may be able to do that or call other wildlife shelters in your area.
We Found A Newborn Baby Bird. We Don't Know What Kind Of Bird It Is But It's Belly Looks As Tho It'll Bust! What Should We Do?
Same problem her bro- but maybe we will try the local SPCA
I just found one too, and I don't know what to do. We're trying to keep it warm though. Good luck to you all!!!
I think you should feed and put it in something with leaves and keep it warm, and pay a LOT of attention
It is in a Blue egg
Feed it worms and water keep it warm and good luck
I also just found a baby sparrow and it is hard but worth it to help take care of it. It can get annoying with the chirping but it pays of when the bird starts to like you
I also found a baby bird last week and I could not find the nest to put it back in,,,and here in Puerto Rico they don't have any facility's to take care of a baby bird so I have been caring for him and he's 6 days and getting big. You need a lot of patience taking care of a baby bird because they demand a lot of attention but it is worth it!! It is such a blessing being part of saving a life...
I found a new born bird on the floor and my dog almost ate it so I found it and got it ,but I don't know what type of bird it is so I don't know what to feed it.I will tell you something I found out IF YOU DON'T WHAT TYPE IT IS , DO NOT FEED IT UNTIL YOU KNOW WHAT IT EATS BECAUSE IF YOU FEED IT , IT COULD CAUSE IT TO DIE.
