First of all, there's no such thing as a "Bald Python"-seriously, when was the last time you saw a snake with HAIR? It's BALL Python, as in BasketBALL, because this species' defense mechanism is to coil up in a tight ball with its head in the center if it feels threatened. Ball Pythons(Python regalis), also known as Royal Pythons in Europe, are not large snakes. Normal adult size is between three and five feet, rarely reaching six, but that size would be unusual. This is one of the reasons that they are such popular pets; their size remains manageable throughout their entire lives.
