My dog will not eat or drink any water,for 3 days he is trying to vomit but all that is comeing up is thick mucus and he will not eat

If your dog was normal and all of sudden started excessive drooling then you should look for mouth, teeth, tongue, and gum diseases. Stomach disorders and metabolic disorders can also cause excessive drooling. If your dog is not eating and lethargic then take him to vet immediately.
