There are different types of lobsters, for instance, pacific lobster are different than atlantic as they have larger tails and no claws. I know some people love the claws but give me the tail where most of the hearty meat is. As well, as a friend who worked in a Danish fishery, for a summer, and they were throwing out the lobsters into garbage pails calling it garbage of the sea. She was shocked and they let her take them home. She ate lobster all that year. They are bottom dwellers and will live most anywhere where there is a food supply close to bottom mostly in warmer climates
