Cushings disease is common in older dogs and is often not noticed as it can be confused with the natural aging process of the dog. Things such as your dog gaining weight, losing hair and urinating in the house can also happen. The good news is cushing's disease is treatable and once treated, I'm sure your wife will be much happier!

To find out more in depth information about cushing's disease in dogs, there is a great website here that tells you all you need to know.

Good luck and I hope your dog gets better very soon.
