Oh no! Don't give it bread soaked in milk! I heard that is one of the biggest common mistakes because their digestive systems can't handle that. Best advise I've heard when in a pinch is to take dog food bits and soak them in water until they are like cream of wheat. I'm currently taking care of a baby bird and got some hand feeding formula food from the pet store. It's made by Kaytee. Seems to be doing a good job.
