No. Is is not a vertebrate. And I'm a 3rd grade girl who learned it about a month ago.

No, snakes have a backbone and spinal column, and have hundreds of bones throughout their bodies. An invertebrate is a multicelled animal that has no internal skeleton or bones and especially has no vertebrae(backbones). "INvertebrate" means "no backbone".
