Blue jays have short, slender beaks for breaking seeds. Since they are perching birds, which are birds that sits on the branches, they have four toes: 3 in the front and 1in the back. These help them to hang tightly on branches. Also, they eat insects.

Blue Jays legs, bill and feet are all black. The bill is a small and sharp and the feet are just normal claw feet as well.
