Well I have seen a garden snake in my neighbor hood forest before. They r black with yellow long stripes. They are harmless but, they are really easy to be frighten by.

Ok I found a snake it has barly see able sripes going sideways down its back and its a very very dark green color so I don't know waht it is but I found it in rockford which is very close to chicago
