Chihuahuas are the cutest, little lap dogs in the world. There is, however, no such thing as a "teacup" chihuahua. That is not a trait of the breed that is recognized by the American Kennel Association. It is a term used by breeders to sell their puppies, by making the buying think that they are truly getting something smaller than normal chihuahuas. The only way to know how big or small your little guy or gal will be be is to see the parents.
As a breed they are smart and fiercely loyal. Not recommended for small children who could hurt them very easily. They are cute and eat very little. They don't require grooming and are so easy to bathe. An absolute wonderful breed!!
