Is It Okay To Use Agave Syrup Instead Of White Sugar When Making Hummingbird Food For The Feeder? And If So, What Is The Ratio Of Agave To Water?

I heard a woman on Gardening in the NW radio show (Seattle) say she makes this mix and the birds love it. I thought she said 1 agave syrup to 3 water, but I've been looking online and I can't find it. Your question was the closest I've found.
