I have always herd that nurse sharks were very gentle and some of the worlds least dangerous sharks I have been to an aquarium and the guest were allowed to put our hands in the tank to touch them and most people think that grey whites are the most dangerous because of JAWS but if you actually research it you will find that the bull shark is the worlds most dangerous shark and it is surprisingly not the biggest but what really scared me stiff is the fact it migrates from salt water to fresh water with no problem and they only go to freshwater to breed so when they do visit they multiply but if a shark has been sighted in fresh water a sign is put up saying shark sighting even though JAWS was about great whites I have recently heard it was based of the true story of a boy being eaten by a bull shark

The friendliest and least dangerous shark is the Whale Shark. They do not feed on humans or even large things like seals. They pose absolutely no threat to us (Unless maybe you swim in it's giant mouth and get stuck . . . They are the largest fish).

Most sharks in the world's waters do not see man as their natural prey. In fact, none of them do. However, there are many occasions when a shark confuses a person in a wet suit for a seal or a person on a surfboard as a seal.

The most dangerous sharks to man remain the big three, The Great White Shark, found most notably on the coast off California, off the coast of South Africa and the East coast of Australia (although they have been known to attack people as coldly southern as the southern parts of New Zealand. The Tiger shark lives in warm waters and is a lively shark, it has been known to leap from the water and take people from canoes or shallow boats. This is rare but has been reported. Bull sharks do not see man as a predator, but in Australia, they have a habit of swimming up rivers out of the sea and along salt water rivers (that run along the backs of people's gardens) and when people go looking for their lost dog that went for a little paddle, they get dragged under by the ferocity of a bull shark attack.

Sharks are wild animals; any of them could attack you out of defense or pure hunger.
